CSR offers training and educational courses in individual and business conflict prevention, dispute resolution, mediation, facilitation, systems design, and strategic management.

These courses are designed to enhance the competencies and skills of the participants. Each training course is flexible and tailored to meet the participant;s personal and professional needs and schedule. CSR principals have conducted trainings for scores of federal and state agencies, corporations and internationally in more than a dozen countries.

SUCCESSFUL TRAINING & EDUCATION PROJECTS


  • Internal Revenue Service
    In one of the largest initiative of its type in the federal government, Carr Swanson & Randolph was chosen to provide basic and advanced mediation training, as well as practicum experience, for the Service's 200 plus collateral duty mediators.
  • Republic of Croatia
    Rebounding from decades of a socialist oriented, dysfunctional economy, the Republic of Croatia is attempting to transform its entire system of collective bargaining. Carr Swanson & Randolph has been providing basic and advanced training in conflict resolution, negotiation, communication and collective bargaining to representatives of labor, management and the government. Carr Swanson & Randolph is currently providing basic and advanced mediation training, along with "practicum" instruction for Croatian commercial sector mediators.
  • U.S. Postal Service
    Several training sessions on the use of Partnering. The training subjects included designing the workshop, getting management support, establishing a team, building the charter, problem-solving, issue resolution ladders, and implementation strategy.
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
    A trainer in several 5-day training sessions. Subjects taught included types of ADR, nature of disputes, issue resolution ladders, and partnering.

    Training in Negotiating, Conflict Management, and Dispute Resolution.
  • Arkansas Federal Highway Administration
    The training consisted of a two-day workshop on ADR and Partnering. The training included the ADR continuum, negotiating skills, selecting mediation or arbitration, interest-based bargaining, personality types, dealing with difficult people, selecting the type of ADR.
  • National Electrical Contractors Association
    A series of one-day training programs on the use of ADR and Partnering by construction subcontractors. The program included overcoming barriers to ADR, defining ADR, negotiations, interest-based bargaining, selecting the neutral, dispute review boards, and partnering.

    Alternative Dispute Resolution Training.

  • The Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management
    A one-day training program on the use of ADR and Partnering in public procurement. The program included types of ADR, drafting ADR agreements, confidentiality, designing ADR programs, and Partnering.
